GROHE Allure basin mixers enhance the Cosmopolitan-style interior
Just a block away from the Atlantic, in the heart of Miami’s Art Deco district, Dream South Beach welcomes guests to a unique sensory experience. Following a multi-million dollar renovation, which united two historic hotels: the Tudor Hotel and the Palmer House, the hotel’s interior marries modern eclecticism with a splash of 70s laid-back lounge.
Behind a Streamline Moderne façade, Architropolis’ Michael Czysz and Kelly Ogden have created 108 colour-infused guestrooms and public areas adorned with one-off pieces of art in a location that is hard to beat.
On the top floor, the duplex Sun House Penthouse Suite is an oasis of calm – where a palette of gold and white is used to blend Moorish influences with cutting-edge style. In the Junior Suites, the designers transplanted classical architectural motifs onto fretwork headboards, panels and doors set against a backdrop soft blue lighting to enhance the relaxed and intimate South Beach vibe.
In tune with the hotel’s Cosmopolitan styling, the GROHE Allure basin mixer was chosen for the bathrooms in the Junior Suites and the Sun House Penthouse – its elegant form reflecting the classic linear profile of the exterior and the modernity of the interiors.
Adding a final flourish to hotelier Vikram Chatwal’s Dream, a 70s-inspired rooftop lounge and infinity pool encourage relaxation under the south Florida sun and make the most of the Atlantic views.
Dream South Beach is part of the Dream hotel chain, which includes properties in New York, India and Thailand.
